Do you offer white-glove furniture receiving for interior designers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We receive furniture shipments at our warehouse, inspect for damage, photograph everything, store in climate-controlled vaults, and deliver on your schedule with white-glove installation. Many interior designers in Steamboat rely on us as their exclusive receiving partner. Designers get access to our app to track shipments, view photos, and schedule deliveries.

What is your climate-controlled storage like?

We offer two options. Full-Service Storage uses 5×7×7 climate-controlled vaults—we handle everything from packing to inventory to delivery. Moving pads are included in the monthly rental price. It's set-it-and-forget-it storage where your items stay in our care until you need them. Self Storage features 14×40 and 20×60 units with 24-hour keypad access so you can come and go on your schedule. Our 21,000 sq. ft. warehouse is the only climate-controlled moving storage facility in Steamboat.

How far in advance should I book my move?

We recommend booking 4-8 weeks in advance during peak season (May–October) and 2-3 weeks otherwise. For large or complex moves, earlier is better. We'll always try to accommodate last-minute requests.

How do you charge?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the move type. Local moves, interior designer installs, and in-state Colorado moves are charged by the hour—the clock starts and ends at our warehouse, or when drivers arrive and leave the hotel for multi-day jobs out of the area. Interstate moves are guaranteed price by the truckload.

What makes my estimate different than my final bill?

Hourly moves: Your final bill may change based on conditions you didn't mention (stairs, long walks), if you need packing help, add services, or have more items. If we finish faster, you pay less. Interstate moves: Price is guaranteed and won't change unless you have extra items requiring an additional truck or add extra services like packing and materials.

We serve all of Routt County—Steamboat Springs, Stagecoach, Hayden, Oak Creek, Craig, Yampa, Toponas, Phippsburg, Clark, and Milner—plus Summit County and Eagle County. For interstate moves, we cover the entire lower 48 states.

Yes. Colorado PUC HHG-00576. USDOT 3225248. We carry comprehensive liability coverage and can provide certificates of insurance on request.
